Aviation and Supply Chain Management academic research focuses onto supply chain topics including transportation, logistics, and operations management. Research and studies are positioned to deliver the most comprehensive analysis and understanding of the logistic planning process and how it can be refined to make your supply chain more efficient, more responsive, more reliable and more successful.
The workshop will examine the highest performing supply chain logistics concepts that have emerged from recent operations and how these concepts can increase productivity. Taking the efficiency derived from the commercial world, concepts for military operations can be produced to help drive efficiency and optimise airlift assets.
With a focus upon the roles and responsibilities of individual elements and assets, clear models can be developed to aid logistic commanders and airlift operators. Drawing on experience from civilian life initiatives that can be replicated within the military context, the workshop highlights how logistics development can move forward in a joint or collaborative framework.
This workshop is an excellent opportunity to look at the entire air transportation organisation and logistical supply chain in a new light.
